The Boys' Brigade is a Christian based uniformed youth organisation running educational and fun activities for boys between the ages of 5 - 18 years.

The BB works in partnership with local churches and offers support and a structure for their work with boys and young men. The BB seeks to provide a balanced and challenging programme of activities, which seeks to assist the personal, social, physical and spiritual development of boys and young men and their growth towards mature adulthood.

Activities include craft, sport, adventure, spiritual and outings.

Each group is called a Company with four age sections within it.  The 4 age sections are;

• Anchor Boys 5 – 7 yrs
• Juniors 8 – 11yrs
• Company Section 12 – 16yrs and
• Seniors 17 – 18yrs. 

After the boys turn 18 they can apply to become Officers with in the Company.

Each Company is attached to and is supported by a local church.
