The Army Cadet Force is a National Voluntary Youth Organisation sponsored by the Army. There are over 40,000 Army Cadets in the UK. Young people can join from age 12 (if they are in secondary education) and can stay until they are 18 years 9 months. Here in Bucks, we have over 450 'Young Achievers' in 19 locations throughout the county, so there's bound to be one near you.
Being a Young Achiever is also about developing your leadership skills, being part of the community you live in, being involved in local events and activities for charity in your area.
So if you're between 13 and 18 and want to meet life head on, call and find out how to do it! You could be pleasantly surprised.
