St John Ambulance is a self-funding voluntary organisation which provides First Aid cover for public events such as the Bucks Show, Wycombe Wanderers Football Club, Horse Shows, Fetes.

We provide youth groups for: 

• Badgers - age range 6 - 10 years
• Cadets - age range 10-18 years and
• Adults - 18+ years.

Cadets and young adults work for the Grand Prior award which involves gaining 12 proficiency certificates in various subjects over a three year span and this award is recognised by employers.

All ages learn First Aid and care but with the under 16’s we provide a syllabus to follow for them to work towards badges they can wear on their uniform.

Cadets will provide voluntary service to the community e.g. by attending fetes, horse events, Football matches and also care for the elderly and disabled. These hours are counted up and they can achieve hour badges to wear.
